Ghouls Aloud (Penkoon) 3-0 Hive of Scum & Villainy (anchor)
Match highlights, from my perspective....A werewolf failed to recover from being KO'd after Ghouls Aloud went 3-0 up....Pretty much the only thing that went may way the whole game.

I feel a bit dirty. Like I did a bad thing. Maybe it's just everyone else's teams know about The Chicago Way, bar mine.

Get Your Rat Out!! (Penkoon) 2-1 Bongo's Bouncing Bastids (nobby)
Not really sure how I won this one.
Nobby drafted in the help of some little lizard thing with a knife. I guess it might make sense on team of frogs, but it seemed a bit incongrous on a team of human gymnasts from the frozen tundra, or whatever they are supposed to be. Nevertheless, Nobby always seems to manage to have a stabby player when we meet and I've consequently come to hate that skill.
The first half saw the Bastids drive ruthlessly downfield smashing and stabbing their way through the Rats. The skaven harrassed the ball carrier as best they could but were unable to be more than a minor irritation and never really looked like stopping the drive. The casualties and KOs started mounting up and Fanny finished off the Kislev drive in T8 to take the lead.
Starting the second half with 4 players in the injury box and 2 more out cold, the Rats were very grateful when Nobby kicked the ball straight to Whispering Eye. He caught the pigskin with ease, Bearded Clam punched a hole in the Kislev line and everyone ran through it. 1-1.
It was set up nicely for Nobby to pull off a 2-1 grind, but somehow it all fell apart. The KOd Rats woke up, Fur Burger sacked Igor Bolokov and the Rats ran off with the ball. Still, they were struggling to keep it protected from all the leaping Bastids, but thankfully some of Kislev agility deserted them and they repeatedly fell flat on their face. Juice Box (MVP) eventually ran in the T16 winner.
The victory took its physical toll: - RIP Sideways Sloppy Joe. You weren't with us long enough to achieve anything of note. Apologies for not bothering to use the apothecary on you. - Squish Mitten did get the apothecary's treatment, but he could only change an armour break into a niggle :-( - Cooter is MNG. Still, a win's a win.

Nobby lucked a 2-1 win, but his apothecary killed the Yeti, when I’d only broken its arm (-1 st).

Fairies with Boots (Beefburger) 2-3 Blackspine Manticores (DaImp)In the battle of the unbeaten Elf teams, it was the Dark Elves who came out on top of their nature loving cousins. With the game being played under very sunny conditions one would have thought it would be the Dark Elves who would falter, with the Wood Elves enjoying the gloriously bright day. But no. The Fairies got off to a terrible start despite receiving the ball from the kick-off. A fumbled pick-up and being swamped by the Manticores led to a turnover TD from the Dark Elves midway through the first half. The Fairies did get their act together from the second kick-off and managed to pull level going into the half. But the Manticores had their tails up now and would storm to a 3-1 lead in the second half. Mistress Pain causing mayhem, but still finding time to step out to the dugout and update her Twerper account with some fabulous make-up tips. A late consolation TD did give the scoreline some credibility for the Fairies but this was a powerful performance from the Manticores who have grown in confidence this season and look ready to make a serious run for the title. You too can get the Mistress Pain look. Follow her on Twerper @fuckofftwerp

Well another draw for the Load ... 1-1 vs Public Enemy.
Twas a good game for the spectators thought with Elf flair being ground into the "Petri Dish" dirt by the rotting feet of the hosts of nurgle. At one stage even the tree man copped it fortunatly repaired by Watchtowers apothocary.
The teams both scored on opposing drive which was a bit of a show, despite the draw The Load fans will go home happy as (i think) their team has two new skills to roll up. They are slowley becoming less bad. And with the st5 Warrior there is a team star player in the pipes. Lets see him die before the end of the season !
Thanks for the game Watchtower.

Angry Vomit JV 0 - 1 Caimen Excise Dodgers
Not a game that you’re going to watch over and over again..
First half Vomit attacked. Both teams rolled around on the half way line for 90% of the time. Orc thrower sacked, skink sacked, orcs tried to throw a pass to a goal hanger the lizards had forgotten about, but failed.
Second half the ball was touched back to a saurus, who burst through towards the end zone flanked by two skinks whilst the rest of the team tied up the orcs on the halfway line. A couple of orcs managed to get back to put tackle zones on the saurus, who made the wrong decision to blitz out of the marking, using a reroll to achieve nothing and then failing to break the remaining tackle zone. Should just have gone for the break tackle really. A small pile on ensued before another saurus picked up a bouncing ball and was able to blitz free to score in turn 16.
Angry Vomit attempted a throw team mate touchdown as the clock ticked down, but the troll seemed to get confused and threw the lucky gobbo back to the spot it’d been picked up from.

Bongos Bouncing Bastids 4 v Midnight fighters 2
Absolute shit show for the fighters who failed pick ups, gfis and blocks all over the shop whereas the bouncing bastids coudlnt fail anything until late in the second half.
