Now that I think it no longer directly impacts my play-off chances, I'm hopefully safe to complain about the scoring system!
Is there any chance of fixing the PCT calculation so that it doesn't double the value of bounty points? Currently the points calculation values a bounty point as 1 point (the same as a draw) but the PCT calculation weights a bounty point as equal to a win (so effectively 2 points).
I believe the PCT was introduced for the case where people drop out halfway through a season and not all teams play the same number of games. It should be the case that if two teams have played the same number of games and have the same number of points then they have the same PCT, but with the current formula that's not the case. It should be something like PCT=(Pts)/(games played * 2)
Entering the last week of the season, it can add to the fun if people know what they need to qualify for the play-offs, even if its something ridiculous requiring a bounty and 7 TDs, particularly now every team has a target. Not everyone needs to care about play-off qualification to have fun, but for some of us striving for it can add to the enjoyment even if we fuck it up and don't come close. With the current system it's hard to figure out whats required because the Pts column isn't the right place to look - PCT is considered before points and currently being ahead on points isn't the same as being ahead on PCT even if all teams play the same number of matches.
If we think bounty points should actually be worth 2 points (the same as win), that's potentially fine, but that should be reflected the same in both Pts and PCT!

Would it be difficult to add a games played column as well?

Nearly: no it wouldn't be difficult at all, do we really need one?

Heralds of Change 0 - 1 Brass Clangers
Hah! First place in the SAC as counted from the bottom of the table belongs to the Heralds of Change! Even with only two ogres left on the field for the opposing team during the last few turns the Tzeentch worshipping bastards could not manage to get the pigskin into the endzone, leaving the result a well deserved 0 - 1 in favour of the Brass Clangers. This leaves the Heralds' season with 2 draws, 4 losses and fuck-all in the win coloumn. None shall challenge our ineptitude! Our legendary shittiness knows no equal! All shall shake their head in awe at our ability to completely fuck up any sort of opportunity presented to us and waste any advantage given! It is no coincidence that when polled most Heralds fans said their second favourite pasttime after watching a Heralds game was to smash their own "meat and veggies" repeatedly with a large hammer.
It was all according to the cunning, cunning plan! You fools, I have you all right where I want you now!

Only conceeded 1TD in the second half. Unfortunately I had contrived to conceed 4, including one when receiving a kick-off in T8 (bloody riot). It was one hell of a shitshow, but despite the game really pushing me I managed not to be a sour cunt about it....so that's a positive.
Hive of Scum & Villainy (anchor) 1-5 Kansas City Leafs (ShinyJ)
Well played Shiny.

Thanks anchor, yes this was a crazy game where the dice decided the outcome was for me to win right from the start. They really did hate you tonight. Thanks for the game and good luck in the play-offs.

Seripas killed one and maimed another, there is only so much one mutated goblin can do when the rest of the team combined can barely get a knock down...

Vanaheim Violators (nobby) v I'm Thorin I haven't a Clue (Penkoon)
The Clue came into this one, knowing they needed to win by 3 to get into the play-offs, while the Violators just needed to prevent that from happening to stay on top of the table.
With so many frenzy players on the pitch, Nuffle thought it would be hilarious to only let them roll skulls and both-downs. Thankfully they all had block, so were just repeatedly surprised to only get one attempt at the block.
Kenneth Williams II made an early dash for the opening score, hoping to take the lead and leave the Clue needing 4, but he was shutdown by Terry Kili-am with some help from both runners. Claiming the ball but trapped deep in their own half with team-mates spread far and wide, the Dorfs were unable to move it too far before getting sacked themselves, leaving it scoreless at the half.
Winning by 3 for the snails-paced Dorfs was always going to require decimating the Norse early doors and scoring at least once in the first half, neither of which things happened. A brilliant second-half kick-off right into the corner was a further nail in the coffin for the play-off bid. Instead, the Clue mounted a slow and steady Dorf drive, gradually moving up the pitch to let Fili Jupitus score a single TD in T16.
They don't normally get enough credit, but I have to say the refereeing in this one was excellent, sending off both Norbert and Water Lubricant for despicable play.
Final score 1-0 to I'm Thorin I haven't a Clue. A winning end to the season, but not enough to count for anything.

-Creep Show- emerged from their one game slump with a 3-0 victory against the Chino Gang.
The Vamps were very thirsty and did more injuries that the Show combined.
A lot of skills but miss qualification this time, lucky for the violators they didnt have to play them on their way to qualification. They did play Thorin :-)
Still if they fancy a inter season "friendly" Creep Show are calling them out as over rated pussies !
