Deadskins get a lucky 3-1 win over the clangers. With the regenerative abilities of the undead keeping them in the game and the over complex playbook of the clangers leaving some of their players scratching their heads with multiple bone head results. Going into the second half it was 1-1 and the clangers looked the stronger team. But after a large pile up on the half way line the ball popped out into a free square where wear wolf Rex King just happened to be urinating at the time. He scooped it up and made it in for 2-1. The clangers were successfully keeping Gravedig Breakham out of the game via strategic fouls. But when the ball ended up in the crowd after a clangers fumble the throw in landed perfectly for deadskins other wolf Gmork to go screaming in for 3-1.
Probably had 8 or 9 successful regents in this game and only failed 1.

Og and I played a “fun” match that ended 1-1. Og messed up his possession in the first half and I scored. I fucked up my possession in second half and he scored. Neither of us could make our quick TDs work.
I had a level up for a skink that I’m not sure how to play. He’s a covering skink. His job is to mark catchers and make life difficult. Occasionally he gets sent into the opposition half to make life difficult for a loose, deep, ball carrier. He’s the most disposable skink on the team. He’s levelled up from 2 to 3, and besides the starting skills of dodge, stunty & break easily he’s got diving tackle (-1 for a dodge out of his tackle zone).
The roll was 5,5. So he can choose +MA, +AV, or any skill (instead of just Agility skills). My first thoughts are:
+MA because a fast skink is always good (although there’s already a +MA, sprint, sure feet player on the team).
Block, because it makes him a little harder to push out of the way (side step next turn) and blodge is generally a pain.
Tackle, because, ‘dodge that you pointy eared fucker!’
Any thoughts?

I'd go block for survivability and keep him on his feet, and later sidestep and shadowing, if you get another double. That is a perfect nuisance.

Or instead of shadowing on a future double, obviously tackle first.

Nearly and I drew 1-1.
The Lizards dominated for 14 turns, playing faultlessly, leading and in possession.
Once again my blodge was worthless.
Then Little McFinnick broke the cage, died, was saved, and inspired the Rangers who finally turned up and scored.
Even then, the lizards were ready to win only to fail a T16 handoff for the score.
Young Scott McToot did die, Making 2 deaths in 2 games, and Little McFinnick is now even more fragile.

Tornadoes 1- 1 Deadskins There was some incredible luck in this game both good and bad. The Tornadoes threatened early with a blitz straight from the kick off ending up 2 squares from a touchdown. The deadskins scrambled and managed to recover and drove the ball back to the tornadoes end zone in an attempt to rob the elves of an equalising opportunity Gravedig Breakham held the ball for two turns on the touch line while the rest of the deadskins set about reducing elf numbers. This proved costly as a couple of dodges a leap and a blitz ended the half 0-0.
The tornadoes scored early in the second half with some epic handling and throwing. They almost made it 2 but a simple 2+ hand off failed twice allowing the Undead to regain the ball. In the final turn Viggy the bad Monkey was in scoring range but again some great dodging and leaping resulted in an elf blitz. 2 dice double push back, reroll into double skulls. The deadskins blitzed their way out of the remaining tackle zone and into a last turn equaliser. What a nail biter.

Short Cut advanced in the competition after Smiffum's ogres and snots got a bit of a beating. The Cut won 2 to 0. The Face-Pounder, who had a bounty on his head, was killed on a foul.
